LaKita Royal, a Long Island, New York native, is deeply committed to supporting individuals and families navigating the housing process. She serves as a community advocate for voucher holders across Long Island and nearby Queens, offering guidance, clarity, and care every step of the way. In her role as an Assistant Property Manager intern, she works closely with tenants—answering questions, resolving concerns, and helping move applications through the process with intention and integrity.

With a Bachelor of Science in Business from St. John’s University, a Master’s in Public Relations from Full Sail University, and currently pursuing her doctorate at Capella University in Human Services, LaKita brings both heart and expertise to her work. She’s driven by a passion for helping others build stability and opportunity through housing. Outside of her work, she finds joy in music, art, wellness, and time with loved ones—especially her children—and lives by her guiding principles: Passion, Purpose, and Persistence.
